Albert W. Planishek

Albert W. Planishek, 91, of Towanda, died Saturday May 11th as a result of an automobile accident in Monroeton, Bradford County.  His wife, the former Florence May Payne also died in the accident.

Born in Forest City, son of the late William and Elinora Pazel Planishek, he was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Church, Towanda.  He was a 1945 graduate of Forest City High School.  He was a veteran of World Word II, having served in the US Army Air Force.  Prior to retirement, Albert was employed in the construction industry with the Carpenters Union, Local 729, Liberty, NY.

Surviving are three sons: Thomas, William, and David Planishek.

As per his request, private funeral services were held and interment with his wife took place in Union Dale Cemetery.
