Carl James Woods, of Lynchburg, Va., and formerly from Forest City and Plains Twp, entered into eternal rest Monday, July 2, 2018, on his 76th birthday.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Gregory Woods.
Born in Carbondale to the late Robert William and Mae Bartholomay Woods, He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Forest City.
Carl graduated from Forest City High School, attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and was employed by Hallmark Cards, Kansas City, as a commercial artist. He returned to Forest City and became a partner in Harold F. Jones & The Company Store, designing and erecting trade show exhibits. He later retired from Azek Building Products as a customer relations manager, and was known as Mr. Azek in the trade show business.
Also surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Robert W. Woods and Ann Woods, Lynchburg, Va.; a sister and brother-in-law: Mary Beth and Joseph Stroud, Easley, S.C.; sister-in-law, Joan Gregory, Bear Creek; two nephews, Robert and William Woods; three nieces, Diane Crouthamel, April Ebling and Janice Settles; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
The funeral will start with services at 10 a.m. Saturday in Christ Episcopal Church, 700 Delaware St., Forest City.
Interment will follow in Rounds Cemetery, Union Dale.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday in the church.
Arrangements are by Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main St., Forest City.
