Debra Mary McGregor

Debra Mary McGregor 61, of Carbondale, died Tuesday, December 18th at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.  She was the wife of Michael McGregor and they were married for 41 years.

Born in Flushing, NY, daughter of the late Arnold Elliott and Theodora Anne Kotulski Moorhouse, she was a 1975 graduate of Hicksville High School, Hicksville, NY.  She was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.  She was currently employed as a shift supervisor for the Rite Aid Pharmacy, Carbondale.  She was actively involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren, and she was an avid fan of Elvis.

Also surviving are two daughters: Katie McGregor and Dave, Old Forge; Kriste McGregor and Karl, Carbondale; sister: Lila Shimskie, Hicksville, NY; five grandchildren: Kristopher, Katherine, Kensington, Kennedy, and Karl Anthony; in-laws, an aunt, nieces, nephews, and cousins in America, Canada, and Germany.

The funeral will be Saturday, December 22nd in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale, with services at 11 am. Friends may call Friday, from 4 to 7 pm or prior to services on Saturday.
