Florence May Planishek

Florence May Planishek, 92, of Towanda, died Saturday May 11th as a result of an automobile accident in Monroeton, Bradford County.  Her husband, Albert W. Planishek, also died in the accident.

Born in Forest City, daughter of the late David Samuel and Martha Ann Arrowsmith Payne, she was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, Towanda; and the Christ Episcopal Church, Forest City.  She was a 1945 graduate of Forest City High School.  Prior to retirement, she was employed as the Assistant to the Supervisor for the American Federation of Wild Life. 

Surviving are three sons: Thomas, William, and David Planishek.

As per her request, private funeral services were held and interment with her husband took place in Union Dale Cemetery.
