Heather M. Waibel

Heather M. Waibel, 44, of Annapolis, MD, died Friday October 26th as a result of an automobile accident.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of Randy and Mary “Betsy” Thomas Waibel, of Waymart, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, class of 1992, and she received her bachelor’s degree from Clarion University and her master’s degrees in Maryland. She was employed as a math teacher in the Anne Arundel County School District, Maryland.

Also surviving are a brother, Mikel Waibel and wife, Rachelle, Dalton; and their two children, Jayde and Gavin Waibel; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert and Irene Waibel; and maternal grandparents, Ronald and Ann Thomas.

The funeral will be Saturday, November 3rd, in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale, with services at 2 p.m. by Pastor James Rutledge of the Mainstream Revival Center. Interment will follow in East Canaan Cemetery, South Canaan.  Friends may call Saturday from noon until service time.
