Sandra Spangenberg

Sandra Spangenberg, 79, of Newton Lake, Greenfield Twp., died Sunday December 16th at home.  She was the widow of Edward "Brin" Spangenberg, who died December 29, 2008.

Born in Honesdale, daughter of the late Henry and Charlotte Ketchum Daubenspeck, she was raised in Honesdale before graduating from Albright College, Reading.  She married the love of her life, Edward on July 31, 1962 in Carbondale.  The couple then resided in Wilmington, Delaware before moving back to Newton Lake in 1994.

Surviving are a son: Eric Spangenberg and wife Amanda and their children Brinley and Chase; two daughters: Lori Cline and husband Timothy and their children: Cassidy and Shelby; and Stacy Spangenberg and her children Corey Spangenberg and Brady Sobieski

The funeral will be Friday December 21st in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale, 18407 with services at 11 am.  Interment will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, Montdale.  Friends may call Thursday, from 4 to 8 pm.
