Stanley A. Cimochowski, 87, of Dallas and formerly Browndale, died Sunday, July 29, 2018, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. His wife is the former Mary E. Shuma.
Born in Browndale, son of the late Stanley and Natalie Modzelewski Cimochowski, he was a member of Our Lady of Victory Parish, Harveys Lake. He was a graduate of Forest City High School, Class of 1948.
Stanley was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Prior to retirement, he was a corporal in the Pennsylvania State Police.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Adam and Edmond Cimochowski; and two sisters, Jennie Miskavage and Eve Cimochowski.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday with a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Joseph's Church, Delaware Street, Forest City. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Forest City.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass Saturday in the church.
