Aida Suarez, 87, of Forest City, died Friday October 11th at home.

Born in Rio Piedra, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Esperaza DeJesue Apdñte, she was a member of Ascension Parish, Forest City.  She was a graduate of James Adams High School, Bronx, NY.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a receptionist at East Borough Medical Center, New York City.

Surviving are two daughters: Edna Vidal, Narrowsburg, NY; Marie Elina, New Jersey; a son: Eddy Suarez, New York City; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two sons: Ernest and Elvin Suarez.

As per her request, private funeral services were held.  Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
