Andrea Lea Mayo Obituary

Andrea Lea Mayo, 74, formerly of Simpson, passed away Tuesday morning, December 20, 2022, at the Julia Ribaudo Nursing Home, Lake Ariel. Andrea was predeceased by her son Michael Mayo and her companion Bill Wiggins; as well as a sister, Josephine Jackman and a great grandson, Christopher Vogler.


Born in Sidney, NY, daughter of the late Edward and Betty Beach Stelmach, she was a graduate of Sidney High School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Nurse’s Aide at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY. Andrea loved being on the farm and spending time with family.


Surviving is her daughter: Jeni Hunsinger, Greenfield Twp.;  three grandchildren: Kristianna Stark; Taylor Cashman; and Rylee Taylor; great grandchildren: Brayden Vogler; Hadley Stark; Nora Cashman; and Charlotte Cashman. Also surviving are her sister Colleen Chrycy, Florida; her brother, E.J. Stelmach, South Carolina; as well as several nieces and nephews.


As per her request, private funeral services were held. Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
