Anne M. Muldoon

Anne M. Muldoon, 93, of Carbondale, died Friday June 20th at Wayne Woodlands Manor.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Alexander and Susan Hofmann Muldoon, she was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Carbondale, where she was an active volunteer for fundraisers.  She was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Class of 1950.  She was employed for 45 years at the Carbondale Public Library, serving as Library Director for 44 years before retiring in 2003.  She was also a member of the Carbondale Women’s Club.

Surviving are a nephew: James Muldoon and wife Lori, Charleston, WV; and two great nieces: Juli Catherine and Alexandra Muldoon.

She was also preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Muldoon.

The funeral will be Wednesday July 2nd with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.  Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.  Friends may call at the church from 11 am until mass time.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
