Barbara Renner Obituary

Barbara A. Renner, 79, of Pocono Summit, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at home surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband, Robert Renner. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary next month.

Born May 22, 1942, in Teaneck, N.J., she was the daughter of the late William and Kathleen (McSweeny) Mullen. She was a graduate of Parsippany High School, Parsippany, N.J. Prior to retirement, she was employed in the accounting department at the law offices of Pitney, Hardin, Kipp & Szuch, Florham Park, N.J.  Barbara’s dream was to get married and have a family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Barbara’s greatest love was her family.  She would drop everything to be there for support and encouragement. Family dinners, vacations and our crazy adventures will never be the same. She loved trips to the beach, dark chocolate and her fur baby, Angel.

Also surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Wellerson, Bangor; Joanne Stalker and husband, Christopher, Moscow; four grandchildren, Courtnie Wellerson; Ryan Stalker and wife, Katherine; Joseph Stalker and wife, Shelby; and Kellianne Stalker; a great-grandson, Chayce Stalker; a brother, William Mullen and wife, Lorraine, Succasunna, N.J.; and several nieces and a nephew.

She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jeffrey Wellerson.

As per her request, the family will honor Barbara in a private celebration of her life. Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main St., Forest City.
