Bernard C. "Buddy" Kilpatrick

Bernard C. “Buddy” Kilpatrick, 66, of Browndale, died Friday October 17th at Dunmore Healthcare Center.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Michele P. Debevec, who died May 22, 2014.

Born in Carbondale, son of the late William and Jean Kolenda Kilpatrick, he was a member of Ascension Parish, Forest City.  He was a graduate of Forest City Regional High School.  Prior to his retirement, he was the owner and operator of B. Kilpatrick Excavating, Browndale.  Prior to founding his excavating business, he was employed as an ironworker.  He was an avid hunter and a member of the Browndale Sportsmen's Club.

Surviving are a son: Josh Debevec, Browndale; two sisters: Debbie Zavada and husband John, Vandling; Marci Kowalewski, Richmondale, and several nieces and nephews.

As per his request, a celebration of life service will be held at a future date.  Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
