Carl A. Robinson, 82, of Pleasant Mount, died Tuesday, July 29th at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernardine J. Boyle Robinson, who died in 2013; the couple was married on October 26, 1968.

Born in Carbondale, son of the late Albert and Magdalen Miluszusky Robinson, Jr., he was a member of Saint Katharine Drexel Parish, Pleasant Mount.  He was a graduate of Forest City High School and a veteran of the United States Army National Guard.  He was a self employed dairy farmer.  Carl was a dedicated lifetime member of Pleasant Mount Emergency Services and the former Belmont Fire Company, where he served in numerous leadership roles over the years, including as Chief, member of the Board of Trustees, and as an Emergency Medical Responder on 28-3, with his beloved wife Bernie.  He was also a member of the American Legion Post 964, Pleasant Mount.

Surviving are two sons: Anthony Robinson, Pleasant Mount; Andrew Robinson, Keansburg, NJ; a brother: William Robinson, Maine; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Saturday, August 2nd, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint James Church, Pleasant Mount.  Friends may call at the church from 9 am until mass time.  Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
