Carol Ann Hobbs

A force of nature, Carol Ann Hobbs, 72, of Carbondale, reluctantly passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 25th, surrounded by all her loved ones. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband of an adventurous 51 years, George Hobbs.

Born in Dickson City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Martha Gill Kulesa. Carol made friends everywhere she went, and always enjoyed the finer things in life like soaking up the sun at the beach with a cold drink in hand, playing high stakes bingo and gambling "just a little bit." She was always a winner in life.

Also surviving are a son, George Michael and wife, Ruth; daughters, Maribeth and husband, Dan; Evie and husband, Mark; Colleen and husband, Randy; grandchildren, Hilary, George Casey, RJ, Sophia, Aimee and Mark Jr.; and by all those who called her mom. She will be missed by all.

As per Carol's wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a future date. Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale.
