Christine Farrell, 61, of Carbondale, died Monday December 16, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Ohmnacht, who died in 1985.

Born in Scranton, daughter of Marie Noto Farrell, Carbondale, and the late William Farrell, she was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Carbondale.  She was a graduate of Carbondale Area High School, Class of 1981; she went on to receive her Associates Degree from Luzerne County Community College and her LPN certificate from the Lackawanna Career Technology Center.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an LPN at SCI Waymart.

Also surviving are a daughter: Keva Tech and husband Brian, Greenfield Twp.; a granddaughter: Lydia Tech; two sisters: Ann Farrell and companion James Moran, Lehigh Acres, FL; Tricia Fortuner and husband James, Carbondale; three brothers: William Farrell and wife Patricia, Nicholson; Eric Farrell and wife Christine, Carbondale; Adam Farrell, Scranton; a godmother: Carol Moran, Washington Crossing; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral will be Monday December 23rd with a Mass of Christian Burial at Noon in St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.  Interment will follow at Saint Agnes Cemetery, Forest City.  Friends may call at the church from 11:30 am until mass time.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
