Christopher Baldwin, 86, of Carbondale, died Tuesday October 28th at the Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.
Born in Carbondale, son of the late John and Mary Maybert Baldwin, he was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Carbondale. He attended Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the maintenance department at the former Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He operated a produce stand next to Carbondale City Hall for a number of years; he also had a location at the Honesdale Borough Building.
Surviving are two daughters: Lori Zelinski and Alyssia Baldwin; one sister: Jean Taylor, Greenfield Twp.; one niece: Michelle Taylor; and two nephews: Steve Kacer and Edwin Newton.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Florence Worthling and Grace Kacer; two nieces: Carol Ann Gravine and Patty Turano.
As per his request, cremation was held. Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
