Constance “Connie” Daniels, 75, of Carbondale, died Tuesday May 14th at Geisinger CMC, Scranton. She was the widow of Paul J. Daniels, who died September 28, 2021.
Born in Carbondale, daughter of Ronald Gilroy, Carbondale, and the late Mildred McMahon Gilroy, she was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. She was a graduate of the Benjamin Franklin High School, Class of 1966, Carbondale. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Gentex Corp., Simpson, and she had previously worked in the local garment industry. She was a member of the American Legion Post 221 Auxiliary, Carbondale. Connie loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing the lottery and watching foreign movies.
Surviving are two sons: Paul J. Daniels, Jr. and wife Mary Rose, Myrtle Beach, SC; William D. Daniels and wife Mary, Carbondale; three grandsons: William D. Daniels and wife Kayleen; Joshua D. Daniels and fiancée Megan Rocco; and Paul J. Daniels, III; a granddaughter: Caitlyn Rose Daniels; two great grandsons: Leon D. and William D.; three great granddaughters: Elliot “Ellie”; Amelia; and Caroline; three sisters: Nancy Gilpin and husband Steve, Odessa, TX; Kathy Cosklo and husband Gene, Carbondale; Kim Johnson and husband Dennis, Factoryville; a brother: Roland “Skip” Gilroy and wife Dalson, Cibolo, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters: her twin, Bonnie Agentovich and Donna Kalasinski; and a granddaughter-in-law: Kristin Daniels.
The funeral will be Monday, May 20th with a blessing service at 6:30 pm in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale. Private interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill. Friends may call Monday at the funeral home, from 4 to 7 pm.
