Donald D. Sutton

Donald D. Sutton, 80, of Forest City, died Monday November 20th at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, after a sudden illness.  He is survived by his wife, the former Carol Fedorchak.  

Born in Clarks Summit, son of the late Donald and Frances Holgate Sutton, he was a graduate of Clarks Summit High School.  Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as a bridge inspector.  Don enjoyed hunting and fishing and working with his son on his son’s classic cars.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed spending time with his two dogs: Charley and Morgan.

Also surviving are a son: Donald A. Sutton and wife Tiffanie; two grandchildren: Diana and Archer Sutton; two brothers: Hayden Sutton and wife Florence; Scott Sutton and wife Elizabeth; a sister: Becky Eckrote and husband Norm; a sister-in-law: Ruth Sutton; a brother-in-law: Donald Fedrochak and wife Janice; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers: Keith, Gary, Glendon, and Frank Sutton; a sister: Suzie Hatch; and a brother-in-law: James Fedorchak.

As per his request, private funeral services were held.  Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
