Donna Marie Weber, a licensed accountant and resident of Simpson, died after an extended illness on March 6, 2022, at the age of 58 at the Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton.
Donna was born in Carbondale, to James Tedesco, Forest City and the late Dorothy Rutkowski Tedesco. She graduated from Lackawanna Junior College, Scranton with a degree in accounting. Donna lived in South Florida for several years in the 80’s and 90’s. In the mid 90’s she returned to her hometown of Forest City. Donna loved her children and grandchildren more than anything.
Donna was a social butterfly who was outgoing and fun. She loved skiing and camping. She loved travelling to beaches and going out dancing. She enjoyed horseback riding, painting, puzzles and gossiping on the phone. Donna was highly intelligent and lived her life on her terms and loved every moment of it, and we all admired her for that.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her children, Melissa Weber-Dominguez (Mike), Florida; Jessica Weber, Carbondale; and Jonathan James Weber, Michigan; 5 grandchildren: Emilee Ramos-Weber; Jordan Weber; Lacie Weber; Zander Dominguez-Weber; and Paisley Weber; her sister: Toni Tedesco (Kevin); her brothers: Jimmie Tedesco (Deb); Jay Tedesco (Terry); Jerry Tedesco; and Gino Tedesco; nieces: Megan Tedesco, and Kenzie Tedesco; nephews: Joshua Tedesco (Ashley); Justin Tedesco (Cynthia); and Brandon Tedesco; Great niece and great nephew: Grace Tedesco and Caleb Tedesco and her boyfriend, David Zurek.
As per her request, cremation was held and a private service will be held with the family. Arrangements by the Jones and Brennan Funeral Home at 430 Main Street, Forest City.
