Dorothy Valinski

Dorothy Valinski, 83, of Carbondale, died Saturday August 2nd at the Forest City Nursing Center.  She was the widow of Donald Valinski, who died February 20, 2018.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late James and Mary Costanzo Grecco, she was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, now Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Carbondale.  She was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale and attended Carbondale Beauty School.  Prior to retirement, she was employed by Cinram Corp, Olyphant as a line leader.

Surviving are a son: Donald Valinski and wife, Michelle, Waymart; a daughter: Maria Valinski and husband, Craig Lammers, San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren: Delaney and Graysen Valinski and Brandon and Ashley Lammers; a sister: Carmelita Smith, Waymart; and several nieces and nephews.

As per her request, private funeral services were held with interment in Canaan Corners Cemetery, Waymart.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
