Elizabeth Robinson, 96, of Carbondale, died Wednesday, October 7th at Allied Services Hospice, Scranton. She was the widow of Joseph A. Robinson, who died in 2005.
Born in Susquehanna, daughter of the late Albert and Katherine Tickleman Perry, she was a graduate of Susquehanna High School. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Carbondale, where she was a member of the Women’s Society and the Altar Guild. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a dental assistant for several area dentists. She was an avid Bridge player.
Surviving are a son: Jeffrey Robinson and wife Sandra, Carbondale; five grandchildren: Abigail Robinson Tafur; Noah, John, Jason, and Christopher Robinson; great grandchildren: Camila Tafur, Adeline, Hunter, Peighton, Carson, and Caileigh Robinson, and Makenzie Applegate; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three sons: Richard, John, and James Robinson; a grandson: James Robinson; and two brothers: Eugene and Clair Perry.
The funeral will be Saturday, October 10th from the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale, with services at 9:30 am in Trinity Episcopal Church, River Street, Carbondale. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill. Friends may call Friday, from 5 to 7 pm.
