Gloria Jean Oestel

 Gloria Jean Oestel, 78, of Browndale, died Thursday August 28th at home. Her husband is Richard Oestel; they would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in September. 

Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Prudence Albino  Path. She was a graduate of Bushwick  High School in New York. Prior to her retirement she worked at the Forest City Turkey Hill for over 26 years. Gloria was a loving mother and grandmother. She was loved by all that knew her, and she will be greatly missed.

Also surviving are her children: Randy Oestel and Victoria Peters and her husband Lance, all of Browndale; her grandchildren: Alyssa Peters and boyfriend Brian Demchak, Forest City; Stephanie O'Neill and husband Lucas. UnionDale; and Eric Peters, Browndale; and a great grandchild: Luna Rose O'Neill; cousins: Joann Baily  and Susanne Masucci  of Upstate NY 

Her best friends for over 50 years were Joan and Jon  Trutneff .   

As per her request cremation was held.
