James Foster Smith

James Foster Smith, of Union Dale, died shortly after birth on Tuesday August 16th at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center due to an automobile accident on State Route 171 in Clifford Twp. along with his mother, Kassandra Caila Elizabeth Custard.

Surviving are his father, Christopher Smith, Union Dale; a brother: Liam, at home; maternal grandparents: John and Christine Custard, Carbondale; paternal grandparents: Keith and Sandra Owen, Vandling; great grandparents: Phyllis Parry, Lake Ariel; John and Dorothy Armstrong, Carbondale; George and Mary Ellen Owen; and Gail and Jimmy Lamardy, Sr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, and cousins.

The funeral will be Monday August 22nd, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.  Interment will follow in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.  Friends may call Monday morning at the church, from 9 am until mass time.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
