Jane Marie Bergen

Jane Marie Bergen, 88, of Fairfax, VA and formerly of Alexandria, VA, died May 20th at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, VA.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late John E. and Helen Langan Bergen, she was a former member of St. Mary’s Church, Alexandria, VA and St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.  Prior to retirement, she was employed as a public school teacher.

Surviving are her brother: Retired Colonel James P. Bergen, Katy, TX, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Ann Bergen; and a brother: Dr. John J. Bergen.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday June 25th  in Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.  Interment followed in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue.
