Jennifer J. Jones

Jennifer J. Jones, 52, of Clifford Twp., died Sunday December 10th.  She was the wife of Robert Jones.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Jean Price Grizzanti, Carbondale, and the late Anthony Graziano, and step-daughter of Anthony Grizzanti, Carbondale.  She was a 1989 graduate of Carbondale Area High School, and a graduate of Lackawanna College, where she received her LPN certification.  She was employed as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration in the Scranton office.  She attended St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.  Jennifer was a social member of the American Legion Post 221, Carbondale.  She enjoyed taking long trail walks with her dogs Snickers and Reese and being able to come home from work and go for a ride on her pontoon boat on Crystal Lake, where she was able to watch the sunsets.  She was affectionately known as the “Coupon Queen.”

Also surviving are a son: Jeffery Brown, Carbondale; one grandson: Ryder Brown, Carbondale; two step-brothers: Anthony Grizzanti, Jermyn; Michael Grizzanti, Carbondale; two step-sisters: Debbie McGovern, Greenfield Twp.; Gina Phillips, Vandling; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law: Fred and Mary Lou Jones.

The funeral will be Saturday, May 11th with services at 12 noon in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.  Interment will follow in Sandy Bank Cemetery, Greenfield Twp.  Friends may call on Saturday from 10 am until service time. Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
