Jeremey M. Tomaine

Jeremey M. Tomaine, 26, died Thursday July 28th as a result of injuries sustained in an accident on the Casey Highway.

Born in Scranton, son of Kimberly Esbensen Tomaine, Carbondale, and Michael Tomaine, Vandling; he was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.  He was a 2015 graduate of Scranton Preparatory School and a 2019 graduate of Wilkes University, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance.  He was employed as a financial accountant.  While at Wilkes, he served as President of the Student Council and he was a Kirby Scholar.  He was an Eagle Scout, having received the Order of the Arrow Award.

Also surviving are two brothers: his twin Adam Tomaine, Scranton; Kristopher Tomaine, Madison, WI; one niece: Catalina Tomaine, Carbondale; and maternal grandparents: Thomas and Ann Morris, Waymart.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Peter and Romayne Tomaine.

The funeral will be Tuesday August 2nd with services at 6 pm in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.  Friends may call Tuesday, from 3 pm until service time.
