Jeremy Alan Clark, 17, of Vandling, died early Saturday morning, October 23rd, in a hit and run accident on Route 171 in Clifford Twp.
Born in Scranton, son of Cassandra Himko Clark, Vandling, and the late Jason R. Clark, he attended Forest City Regional High School. He was employed as a cook at Germana’s Pizzeria, Nicholson.
Surviving are his paternal grandmother and guardian: Tabatha Rettberg, Vandling; two sisters: Karlie and Kayleigh Clark, both of Vandling; several aunts and uncles including Sara Maloney, Old Forge; Megan Rettberg, Browndale; Tiffany Wells, Mehoopany; Kodi Morrison, Nicholson; Kori Morrison, Simpson; Tabby Ann Rettberg,, Vandling; Ryan, and Tyler Freeman; Christopher Yeomans, all of New Jersey; Jordan Wells, Mehoopany; Garrett Williams, Jermyn; Mickey Stackhouse, Forest City; John Frisbie; Allen Call, Nicholson; great aunts and uncles including: Donald Clark, Vandling; James Clark, Clifford; Kimberly Morrison, Clifford; paternal grandfather: John Freeman, New Jersey; great grandfather: Larry Fletcher, Great Bend; great grandmother: Noreen Rettberg, New Jersey; many cousins and aunts and uncles from New Jersey and Pennsylvania; and numerous friends, including Marcus Pickard and Jamie Williams.
He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Karl H. Rettberg, Jr.; great grandfather: Karl H. Rettberg, Sr.; great grandmothers: Lillian Howard and Barbara Fletcher; and a cousin: Gage Wells.
The funeral will be Friday with services at 3:30pm by Pastor Jack Munley in the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City. Friends may call from 2 to 4 pm.
