Josephine Perri, 84, formerly of Carbondale, died Thursday June 22nd at Seton Manor Skilled Nursing, Orwigsburg.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Natale Perri, who died in 2007.

Born in Eynon, daughter of the late Walter and Nellie Leskofsky Balkan, she was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale.  She was a graduate of Archbald High School and was a loving mother and homemaker to her family.  Prior to retirement, she was employed by the Endicott-Johnson Shoe Factory, Forest City.

Surviving are a daughter: Tammy Klemens and husband Mark, Temple; a granddaughter: Jacqueline Klemens, Columbus, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Lorraine Myers and Regina Gensini.

The funeral will be Monday, June 26th with a blessing service at Noon at Our Mother of Sorrows Mausoleum, Finch Hill, with entombment to follow.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale.
