Joyce Ann Lucas, 70, of Olyphant, died Thursday March 7th at home. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Lucas.
Born in Peckville, daughter of the late Henry and Lillian Rushworth Cobb, she attended Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a CNA for Allied Services, Scranton.
Also surviving are four children: Marlene Leonard and husband Robert, Crystal Lake; Tracey Dunn and husband Ryan, Honesdale; Patrick Skeen, Eynon; Shaun Skeen, Carbondale; grandchildren: Justin Thomas, Robin Jennings, Robert Leonard, Gage, Aiden, Colin, Brady, and Brenna Skeen; and Lucy; great grandchildren: Leo and Lucas Jennings and Lena Thomas; two brothers: Sidney and James Cobb, both of Carbondale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by five siblings: Raymond Cobb; Ida Schwab; Lovey Durko; Joseph Cobb; and Thelma Brown.
As per her request, private funeral services will be held, with interment in Sandy Bank Cemetery, Greenfield Twp. Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale.
