Judith F. Muehleisen, 85, of Forest City, died Friday September 20th at the Carbondale Nursing Center. She was the widow of Carl E. Muehleisen, who died January 20, 2002.
Born in Peckville, daughter of the late Elmer and Faith Rolls Wilding, she was a member of the Community Bible Church of Greenfield. She was a graduate of Blakely High School. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a production worker at Lockheed Martin, Archbald. Judith was an avid gardener and a skilled artist. She enjoyed painting, sketching, and pressing flowers.
Surviving are a son: Price Muehleisen and wife Erin, Clifford Twp.; a daughter: Whitney Petrilak, Forest City; two grandchildren: Thomas Nichols and Keil Muehleisen; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother: Jerry Wilding; and a sister: Lois Wilding.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 27th at 2 pm in the Tompkinsville Cemetery, Edwards Road, Tompkinsville, to be celebrated by Pastor Jay Best. Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
