Leslie Marie Rowan, 69, of Carbondale, died Tuesday March 24th at WellSpan York Hospital after an illness. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Rowan; the couple was married on July 20, 1989.
Born in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Richard and Lois Donnick Sickler, she was a graduate of Western Wayne High School. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church, South Canaan. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a Pharmaceutical Technician for Rite Aid Pharmacy, Carbondale. After the closure of Rite Aid, she was employed by Albert’s Pharmacy, Carbondale. Leslie enjoyed being able to assist her elderly customers with their medications. She loved gardening and adored her family, especially her grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sons: Shawn Vinton and wife Amanda, Forest City; Joshua Vinton and wife Desiree, South Canaan; two brothers: Jeff Sickler, Lakeland, FL; Chris Sickler, Forest City; two half-brothers: Jason Sickler, Lake Ariel; and Brendon Sickler, PennSauken, NJ; a half sister: Heather Escott, Carbondale; six grandchildren: Daniel Salvati; Madelyn, Danika, Kennedy, Joshua, and Jakob Vinton; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday March 29th from 2 to 5 pm in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
