Lillian A. Price of Union Dale went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 17, 2022, at the Carbondale Nursing Home.  Her husband of 64 years, Lewis E. Price, passed away in March of 2016.

Born in Forest City, the daughter of the late Henry and Mildred Armstrong Tusar, she was a graduate of Forest City High School, class of 1949.  Before her retirement, she was employed by the local garment industries in Forest City.  For many years she was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers’ Union, and also treasurer and vice president of the Lyon Street Cemetery Association.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.  All who know her will miss her dearly.  Her hobbies were quilting, baking and gardening.

Surviving are a son: Edward Price and wife Sue Marie of Union Dale; two grandsons: Micah Price and wife Brandy, Thompson;  Benjamin Price and wife Elizabeth, Chadds Ford; four great grandchildren: Owen, Austin, Lachlan and Hudson Price;  a brother, Henry Tusar, Forest City; and many special nieces and nephews whose children called her Grandma Price.

She was preceded in death by three sisters: Elizabeth Scarpa; Mildred Mitchell; and Ruth Pitt.

The funeral will be Monday in the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City, with services at 3 pm to be celebrated by her nephew, Richard Butler.  Spring interment, Lyon Street Cemetery, Herrick Township.  Friends may call Monday, from 1 to 3 pm.
