Lois J. Schuster

Lois J. Schuster, 92, of Vandling, died Tuesday August 15th at home.  She was the widow of Philip Schuster, who died September 19, 2002.

Born in Bloomfield, NJ, daughter of the late Paul E. and Marian Peer Dannenman, she was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Forest City.  She was a graduate of Glen Ridge High School, Glen Ridge, NJ.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an administrator and computer programmer for a company in New Jersey.  Lois was a long time caregiver for her mother-in-law, Mafada Schuster.  She loved nature, wildlife, and animals.  She adored her two cats Tripper and Daisy.  She will be greatly missed by her husband’s family, who enjoyed her company and friendship for many years.   She loved living at Lake Hopatcong in New Jersey before moving to Pennsylvania.

Surviving are several cousins, friends, and neighbors.

She was also preceded in death by a sister: Barbara Rugger.

The funeral will be Wednesday August 23rd with services at 9:30 am in Christ Episcopal Church, Delaware St., Forest City.  Interment will follow in Union Dale Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church from 8:30 am until service time.  Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
