Lois M. Wojcik

Lois M. Wojcik, 82, of Forest City, died Thursday July 28th after an illness.  She was the widow of Joseph P. Wojcik, who died August 25, 2002.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sylvia Trelc Benarick.  She was a graduate of Forest City High School.  Lois was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Ascension Parish, Forest City. 

Surviving are a daughter: Karen Obelenus and husband Jason, Forest City; a son: Joseph Wojcik and wife Christina, Union Dale; two grandsons: Christopher Kuruts and wife Kathie, Texas; and Bryan Kuruts and wife Melissa, Lehighton; three great grandchildren: Kortney and Kinsley Kuruts, Lehighton; Gideon Kuruts and one step grandson: Linus Raikes, both of Texas; a sister: Beatrice Dovin and husband Eugene, Richmondale; and several nieces and nephews.

Death leaves a heartache that no time can heal.  Love leaves a memory that no one can steal.

The funeral will be Saturday, July 30th with a Blessing Service at Noon in the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.  Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery, Forest City.  Friends may call Saturday, from 11 am until service time.
