Lynne F. Fortuner

Lynne Frances Fortuner, 59, of Carbondale, died Thursday August 13, 2026.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Albert and Anne Gersic Fortuner, she was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Carbondale.  She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Carbondale, and she received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Scranton.  Most recently, she was employed as a Pharmacy Technician for CVS Pharmacy, Carbondale and several other local pharmacies.  She was previously employed by Prudential Financial. 

Surviving are a sister: Janice Brennan and husband John, Carbondale; a brother: Albert Fortuner, South Dakota; several nieces and nephews including: Julie Coder and husband James, State College; Jill Brennan, Carbondale; John Brennan, Jr., and wife Amanda, Carbondale; and several great nieces and great nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Anne Marie Fortuner.

Private funeral services will be held with interment in Saint Agnes Cemetery, Forest City.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
