Mary Clare Hutchins, 88, of Carbondale, died Monday January 20th at the Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Bernard and Florence Toolan Hutchins, she was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Carbondale.  She was a graduate of Saint Rose High School, Carbondale.  She enjoyed walking, playing bingo, and when she was a child, playing baseball.

Surviving are a niece, nephew, and several cousins.

She was also preceded in death by a brother Paul Hutchins.

As per her wishes, private funeral services were held with interment at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
