Mary McHale, 78, of Carbondale, died Monday November 17th at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late Peter and Mary Simpson Marino, she was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Carbondale.  She was a graduate of St. Rose High School, Class of 1964, Carbondale.  Prior to retirement, she was employed as a production worker at Gentex Corp., Simpson.  She was previously employed as a secretary at Hendrick Manufacturing, Carbondale.  She was a hard working mother and grandmother who loved her family.

The family would like to thank Dr. Matthew Haley and his staff, the nurses and staff of the Carbondale Nursing Center, and Hospice of the Sacred Heart at Dunmore for their compassionate and excellent care.

Surviving are her children: Eugene Klimash and wife Lisa, Mayfield; Kimberly Quinn and husband Michael, Richmondale; Maria McHale and companion Andy Gorel, Fell Twp.; Roberta McHale and companion Joe Unis, Fell Twp.; Jason McHale and wife Angela, Clifford Twp.; four grandchildren: Benjamin and Nicholas Klimash; Jeremy Knight; Ashton Bryant; and two great grandchildren: Nolan and Cooper Quinn.

She was also preceded in death by her best friend: Mary Grace Prebich.

The funeral will be Thursday November 20th with a blessing service at 6 pm in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.  Friends may call Thursday from 3 pm until service time.
