Michael M. Ondrako, 84, of Forest City, died Tuesday January 3rd at home. His wife is the former Martha Morack; the couple had been married for 58 years.
Born in Carbondale, son of the late John and Stephania Banko Ondrako, he was a graduate of Forest City High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. Michael enjoyed fishing, bowling, and astronomy. He was a loving husband and dad, always there for his daughters.
Also surviving are three daughters: Mary Martha Ondrako, Clarks Summit; Ann Stefanov, Forest City; Michelle McLaughlin, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Tina Ondrako.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Ondrako; and a sister: Celia Gugliemetti.
The funeral will be Saturday January 7th with a blessing service at 10 am in the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City. Friends may call Saturday, from 9 am until service time.
