Mildred Berrie

Mildred Berrie, 95, of Lake Ariel, died Sunday October 15th at Celebration Villa at Mid-Valley, Peckville.  She was the widow of Donald Richard Berrie.

Born in Quinter, Kansas, daughter of the late Floyd and Hester Cunningham, she was employed as a Registered Nurse at Pine Crest Hospital, Long Island, NY.

Surviving are one son: Raymond Berrie and wife Marilyn, Lake Ariel; one brother: Benjamin Cunningham, Texas; three grandchildren: Kira Campbell and husband William; Chelsea Torres and husband Hector; Devyn Berrie; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Dawn Berrie; two brothers: Orville and Raymond; and a sister: Betty.

As per her request, private funeral services were held.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
