Nancy Moylan, 84, of Carbondale, died Sunday April 16th at the Carbondale Nursing Center. She was the widow of Edward “Ted” Moylan, who died September 20, 2018.
Born in Waymart, daughter of the late Carmine and Brenhilda Carpenter Cost, she was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. She was a graduate of Waymart High School. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a receptionist at Hendrick Manufacturing, Carbondale. She was also employed as a receptionist at the former Carbondale General Hospital. She was a cancer survivor and a participant in the annual Relay for Life. She looked forward to playing “Mrs. Claus” every year at Hendrick’s company Christmas party. She was also well known for her sewing and seamstress skills, mending and altering clothes for numerous family and friends.
Surviving are two sons, Jack Moylan and wife, Brenda, Robesonia; Jamie Moylan and wife, Dawn, Jefferson Twp.; five grandchildren, Christopher, Alyssa, Adrianna, Vanessa, Madison; a great-granddaughter, Tenley; a great grandson: Max; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother: Anthony Guy Costantino.
The funeral will be Thursday April 20th from the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill. Friends may call Wednesday, from 4 to 7pm.
