Pamela Underwood Davis, 71, of Fiddle Lake, Ararat Twp., died Friday, September 4th at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Born in Yonkers, NY, daughter of the late George E. and Miriam Dewey Underwood, she was a 1971 Graduate of Lake Erie College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology.  Pamela was a lifelong member of the Fiddle Lake community in Ararat Twp.  During her teenage, college, and early adult years, she enjoyed traveling, water and snow skiing, hiking, camping, and being with her friends from Fiddle Lake.  During the 70s and 80s, she was an ardent mother and active member of the Bethlehem community, while raising her son Jonathan.  After caring for her parents in their later years, she moved to Fiddle Lake full time in 1989.

Pamela most enjoyed being at the lake and living a carefree lake life.  While not on the water or walking around the lake, she spent her time caring for her cats, reading, and being with her close friend Jay Steveskey and her grandchildren Victoria and Caden.  She was a loving mother, friend, and grandparent who will be greatly missed.

Surviving are a son: Jonathan T. Davis and wife Colleen, Bethlehem; two grandchildren: Victoria R. Davis and Caden T. Davis; and a sister: Jean Henry, Athens, Maine.

As per her request, private funeral services were held.  Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
