Patricia Anne Weckel

Patricia Anne Weckel, 60, of Carbondale, died Thursday December 15th at Geisinger Wyoming Valley after a lengthy illness.  She was the wife of James Weckel, Sr.; the couple had been married for 36 years.

Born in Paterson, NJ, daughter of the late Francis and Alberta Mizanty Pesoli, she was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.  Prior to her illness, she was employed as a stocker for Wal-Mart and as a personal care aide at Still Meadow, Scott Twp.

Also surviving are two daughters: Francesca Weckel and Giovanna Weckel, both of Carbondale; a son:  James Weckel, Jr., Forest City; 10 grandchildren; two sisters: Carmella Sporko, Carbondale; Beatrice Pesoli, New Jersey; two brothers: Anthony Pesoli, Forest City; Frank Pesoli, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Michalena Weckel.

As per her request, private funeral services will be held.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale.
