Randy E. Novobilski, Sr., 77, of Carbondale, died Thursday, June 6th at Allied Services Hospice, Scranton.

Born in Carbondale, son of the late Frank and Dorothy Henry Novobilski, he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Carbondale.  He was a graduate of the Benjamin Franklin High School, Class of 1964, and the Lackawanna County Vocational Technical School.  Randy was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a machine operator for Prompton Tool, Inc., Honesdale.  He was a social member of the Andrew Mitchell Hose Co. #1, Carbondale.

Surviving is a daughter: Renea Novobilski Georgiou; son-in-law Andreas Georgiou; grandson: Christopher Georgiou; son: Randy E. Novobilski, Jr.; daughter-in-law: Marisa Alia Novobilski; cousins: Shirl Thomas; and Judy Myers. 

The funeral will be Monday, June 10th in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale, with services beginning at 11:00am.  Interment will follow at Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley.  Friends may call Monday from 9:00 am until service time.
