Ricky Alan Todd

Ricky Alan Todd, 65, of Scranton and formerly of Elkdale, passed away on Saturday May 13th at the Linwood Nursing Home.

Born in Carbondale, son of the late Ronald and Isabelle Dolph Todd, Sr., he was a graduate of Mountain View High School.  Ricky’s infectious smile lit up the room.  He touched everyone’s heart that he came in contact with; it was very hard not to fall in love with him.  He will forever be missed.  He loved spending time with his nephew Justin Gazella during his final months.  Ricky had a love for music, and he enjoyed playing the drums, guitar, and bass as a hobby.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their care and compassion, especially Melissa and Kim.  The family would also like to thank the staff at Linwood Nursing Home for their wonderful care.

Surviving are two sisters: Barbara Orr, La Plume; Tammy Gazella, Mayfield; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Thomas Todd and Ronald “Ronnie” Todd, Jr.

The funeral will be Thursday May 18th with service at 4 pm in the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.  Private interment will be in Union Dale Cemetery.  Friends may call on Thursday from 2 pm until service time.
