Robert Malinowski, 82, of Carbondale and formerly of Dunmore, died Sunday.

Born in Dunmore, son of the late Michael and Anna Gerzonich Malinowski, he was educated in Dunmore Schools.  He was a US Army veteran.  He and his father operated the Michael Malinowski Gas Station, Dunmore, for many years, and he later retired as a security guard from Kane Warehouse.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

As per his request, cremation was held with interment in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave. Carbondale.
