Rosamond Morack

Rosamond Morack, 84, of Forest City, died Monday, January 14th at home.  She was the widow of Louis J. Morack, who died January 4, 2009.

Born in Forest City, daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Milota Slick, she was a graduate of Forest City High School, Class of 1952.  She attended Ascension Parish, Forest City.  Prior to retirement, she was employed as a seamstress in the local garment industry.  She was a member of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union.

Surviving are a son: James Morack, Frisco, TX; two grandchildren: Sara Riggins and husband Scott; Daniel Morack; her special nieces: Michele Murray, Scranton; Lisa Jaques and husband Larry, Bear Creek; additional nieces and nephews: David Slick and wife Ann; James Slick and wife Jackie; George Hydock; Sandra Viani; great nieces and great nephews: Jessica Brilhart and husband Kevin; Catherine Slick; Elizabeth Slick; Amanda Cawley and husband Ryan; Andrew Slick; one great great niece: Zoey Brilhart.

She was also preceded in death by a brother: David Slick; two sisters: Barbara Murray and Betty Hydock; and a daughter-in-law: Lori Morack.

The funeral will be Thursday, January 17th in the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City with a blessing service at 11 am.  Spring interment, Saint Agnes Cemetery, Forest City.  Friends may call Thursday from 9 am until service time.
