Rose Ann Apostolico Obituary

Rose Ann Apostolico, 84, of Carbondale, died Saturday December 7th at the Carbondale Nursing Center.

Born in Forest City, daughter of the late Peter and Marie Oeffler Polchak, she was a graduate of Forest City High School.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a production worker at Gentex Corp., Simpson.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the 300/400 wing of the Carbondale Nursing Center for their care, compassion, and love shown towards Rose.

Surviving are a daughter: Terri DeAntonio and husband David, Carbondale; two sons: Anthony Apostolico, Jr. and companion Nicki Hoff, Carbondale; Nicholas Apostolico and wife Christine, Jermyn; five grandchildren: Tania DeRichie and husband Josh; Martin Apostolico and girlfriend Tracy Lipko; David DeAntonio and wife Taryn; Dominic DeAntonio and wife Amanda; Nikolas Apostolico; five great grandchildren; a sister: Madeline Auriemma, Toms River, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson: Anthony Apostolico, III; a daughter-in-law: Tracy Apostolico; a brother: Peter Polchak; and a sister: Carolyn Vitello.

As per her request, private funeral services will be held with interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Forest City.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
