Ruth Milligan Obituary

Ruth M. Milligan, 93, formerly of Endicott, NY, died Friday April 16th.  She was a resident of the Forest City Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Donald and Ruth McNulty Milligan, she was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale.  She then moved to Endicott and worked for IBM for 37 years.  She was a former member of Our Lady of Good Council Church, Endicott. 

Surviving are nieces: Kathleen Lanteigne; Laure Hannell and husband Henry; Patricia Power and husband Richard; and close friend Terry Talarico.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: Donald, Jack, Robert, and James; and two sisters: Mary and infant Ruth.

A very grateful thank you goes to the staff of the Forest City Personal Care Home, the Forest City Nursing Home, and Traditional Home Health Care for their exceptional care and kindness to Ruth.

The funeral will be Tuesday, April 20th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.  Interment will follow in Saint Rose of Lima Cemetery, Carbondale.  Friends may call at the church, from 10:30 am until mass time.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
