Ruth L. Trella, 96, of Forest City, died Sunday August 14th at Wayne Woodlands Manor.  She was the widow of Joseph J. Trella, who died July 24, 2006.

Born in Forest City, daughter of the late Howard V. and Pearl Elizabeth Wilton Lowry, she was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Forest City.  She was a graduate of Forest City High School, Class of 1944.  Prior to retirement, she was employed as a librarian at the Forest City Branch Library.

Surviving are two daughters; Jodi Hilliker and husband Marc, Sayre; Barbara Mihelc and husband Paul, Forest City; a son: Craig Trella, Forest City; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother: James Lowry.

The funeral will be Thursday August 18th with services at 11 am in Christ Episcopal Church, Forest City, to be celebrated by Rev. William McGinty.  Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford.  Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
