Ryan M. Gongliewski, 32, of Nicholson, died Saturday May 2nd at his home in York.
Born in Scranton, son of Carol Polesnak Gongliewski, Nicholson, and the late Michael J. Gongliewski, he was a member of Ascension Parish, Forest City. He was a graduate of Mountain View High School and the Susquehanna County Career & Technology Center; he also graduated from Johnson College. He was a CNC operator for Clinton Industries, York. As a carpenter and craftsman, he enjoyed woodworking and building things.
Also surviving are two sisters: Amy Polesnak, Forest City; Michaelene Serino and husband Brett, Carbondale Twp.; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Paul and Ann Tomazic Polesnak; and parental grandparents: Veronica Gongliewski Washenko and William Evans.
The funeral will be Friday, May 15th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Joseph’s Church, Delaware Street, Forest City. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Forest City. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City and on Friday morning at the church from 9am until mass time.
